Iris Gonzalez, A walk in the past, Sculpture (Clay)

Dear you,

you who has carried me through the lonely nights, the tears I shed with you in mind, the dreams you came into and the way I touched your hand but no word was said, all I’ve always wanted to say was goodbye

Iris Gonzalez is an artist who is currently a senior at Montclair State University. She is receiving her BA in Visual Arts with a Concentration in School and Community Settings, and minors in Entrepreneurship and Child Advocacy and Policy. Iris views the human body as a way to connect not only physically but spiritually. Her subject matter is bringing out realism and philosophy in her work as she reacts to the world around her. As an artist, the most important is nature, religion, and compassion that are brought into her digital work and paintings, which is transformed into something bigger since she strives to deliver a message of faith and passion. The form of characteristics she has, for the importance of humanity and to nurture.
