     The goal of this work, Metamorphosis, is to illustrate the transition from youth to adulthood, specifically during this period of COVID-19. Through this work, the viewer sees pandemic anxiety and coming-of-age doubts on full display.

     My name is Mary Paulson, I'm a multimedia artist based in northern  New Jersey. I typically work with paint or clay, and I hope to one day teach art to young adults.
