Julien Dorsey, Nothing is Real, Photography (Pentax 6x7)

     In such a shifting moment in our history, one might find themselves walking on the thin line of what is real, and what is not real. Spending so much time indoors due to COVID-19, I have become very observant of the materialistic items around me, and very familiar with the walls that surround me. Through my photography, I hope to capture the moments where the light shines just right, and give a glimpse into my life amidst these times.


     Julien Dorsey is a Fine Art photographer who currently lives in New Jersey.  Dorsey began photographing with a digital camera, but prefers to work with an analog camera. When shooting with an analog camera, Dorsey questions how far he can push the realm of taking an image. His work primarily consists of black and white rural and urban photos.
