4x4 Pyramids is a compilation of images throughout the span of 4 days. For four hours each day, the artist listened to the song “Pyramids” by Frank Ocean and drew what she felt through scratch art, symbolizing peeling away layers and discovering the deeper meaning. After each 4-hour exploration, there was a different transformation seen as time went on in each body of work. Combining two strong passions for art and music is important to the artist, and using them simultaneously in 4x4 Pyramids is a prime example of using a physical being to evoke emotion and transformation while listening to a powerful song.
